Growing and operating a business is similar to flying a jet between two points. You have to be doing things differently than your competitors, out-innovating your competitors, being more efficient, more imaginative and adapting faster to changing market conditions quickly. A Result-Oriented Approach to Strategy Effective decision-making must be based on realistic analysis and planning. There is no greater impact to running a successful business. Your organizational success or failure are linked to your ability to identify, correctly evaluate and capitalize on the acknowledged external opportunities and threats to your company which are occurring in a rapidly progressing and more competitive, shifting business environment. Today, many business owners and investors struggle to answer critical questions relating to their competitive advantage. Not only is having a correct strategy important but so too is the optimal execution of your business strategy. It is proven time and time again that strategy focused organizations are more likely to be strong bottom line performers. An organization that does not deploy sound strategy, lacks clear-cut direction, has obscure performance targets is a company who most likely is suffering from poor financial performance. |
